Trade Awl

Here's a nice little trade awl for you sewing kit or your leather projects. The awl is a reproduction of a trade awl from the late 1700's, found often at British sites. The zig-zag anchors firmly in your hand or can be fitted into some type of handle if used often to avoid awl "bites". These awls are made from 1/8 inch square high carbon steel and are about 3 1/8 inches in length. The awl can be found on page 13 of the book "Where Two Worlds Meet".
